Online Facts4Life Primary Foundation Training
Our online course for Primary teachers is designed to introduce teachers to the Facts4Life health resilience curriculum.
The course is ideal for new appointments to a Facts4life school or for schools requiring an update on our approach and resources that help children to manage the ups and downs of physical and mental health. We also welcome schools who have not worked with us before. Please book early as numbers will be limited to ensure participants have every opportunity to interact during the training.
The course will help you to:
- address with confidence health-related themes as part of the curriculum including support for mental health
- meet the new statutory guidance on Health Education
Those participating will receive:
- an introduction to the Facts4Life approach to health resilience and mental health
- a copy of our children’s book ‘This is Fin and Bear’
- access to an extensive collection of online materials on health resilience and mental health for use in the classroom
Comments from Primary Teachers:
‘I can’t wait to get started and I think it will make a big difference. I’m also very impressed that there are resources that parents can access as a lot of our parents struggle to know how they can support their children at home. I think using them in partnership will really support our children’s wellbeing and also some parents’ anxieties.
‘Great resources- perfectly age appropriate.’
‘The content was just what I was hoping for. Fantastic course and information given.’
